Grass on Complex Topographic Surface

Post by holversb »

Hello,

I have a polygonal topographic surface that I have brought into C4D as part of a Revit model. I am attempting to place grass on the surface (by material) but the automatic distribution of blades seems to be following the vertexes of the surface. Any easy way to make the grass uniform across the surface?

thanks!

Hi, the Hair object grows by default on polygon vertex, you can change this behavior in the Guides tab, and set the root to be born on Polygon Area or UV (provided the object has valid UVW coordinates). This should help spreading the hairs on the surface.
