Mineral Reign
I'm in the process of creating a growing "Mineral Reign" material library.
The textures are all tileable and approximatly 4000 x 4000. The materials contain Diffuse, Specular, Roughness, Bump and Displacement maps, in a Physically based Rendering spirit.
I have taken most of the pictures with Nikon macro an micro lenses during trips in nature and in natural history museums of Europe and hancrafted each of them individually for each channel map.
I plan to release this library at a relatively fair and low price considering the hard work.
I thought it might be a handy library for architectural, abstract, jewellery and objects visualization renderings...
The following renders are made with Cinema 4D Octane, but the textures will of course be usable in any other renderers...
I will provide them in .tiff format.
Stay tuned as I will be updating this library regularly in the coming weeks...
Also feel free to make suggestions of materials you could find usefull, and I could add in this library...

If you go on our download section > texture, you can see your self "extreme texture" and "arrows texture" with their gift on past library releases

Re: Mineral Reign
Thanks for your kind words
Yes I plan to commercially release the Library may be sometimes in the end of February.
I may be releasing a Mineral Reign 1 of 40 textures for a start and go one with a Mineral reign 2 and 3 as it keeps growing more and more as I have a nice amount of photos of minerals to work on yet).
the idea of making a serie of libraries is of course to lower the price of each library as much as possible.
I'm still searching the best way and place to sell it (thinking of gumroad) to keep it a low affordable price as well as allow me to make it work so I can continue developing the library for the community (it takes quite some time)...
And of course I was thinking to offer samples to c4d Zone so the community may enjoy trying them and see how cool and useful they are (in my opinion)...
I'm going to show more of them in the next coming weeks and once many will be posted here we'll have more visibility on how to proceed ...
Thanks again for your enthusiasm !
