hi frankhill,
I was impressed like you [and like everyone] watching "No Keyframe", I had some trying about the last scene you mentioned above and I tried a couple of possible solutions.
then I surrended and I used a search engine.
what I found was that both the ways I was trying would be nice to achieve that effect.
- the first one is the official one:
The last scene uses a MoDyn Setup that is baked and than used as input for a cloth setup.
that's how Manuel Merkle, from AixSponza, explains in this thread on CGTalk
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread. ... =keyframes
- the second one is using a combination of Proximal shader and Displacement Deformer like shown here: http://www.c4dcafe.com/ipb/index.php?/t ... -analysis/
ciaociao,
Ros
