import solid layer from adobe after effect in cinema 4d and timecode

Post by ale211734 »

Hello,
I have a problem. I try to export a animate 3d layer create in adobe after effect in cinema 4d.
When I import the .c4d file in cinema 4d I see the plane object but I lost all movements.
I think this problem is related to timecode. I use a bmpcc4k that have a timecode.
If I record with a canon 5d mkii with no timecode when I import the file .c4d is all right.

Thanks in advance.

you answered the question by yourself
You could change the video codec for better import into C4D. Remember that movie files as Mp4 are imported better than other kind of codecs...otherwise you can import an image sequence and tell to Cinema4D to read the image sequence :)
