Post by frankhill »

Hello, I'm becoming crazy for it, why Hair its not viewed by GI?! I thought to lighting it with HDRI but I can't see light on :( it must be converted? or rendered with different building?

As said by Visual, choose raytracing and warning about memory usage.

Hair render C4D

Post by somartin »

This is my first attempt at rendering hair (and fur) and raytracing did the trick. If you need to add an object buffer to the hair, raytracing alone won't work. You need to add atmosphere for it to recognize the hair properly for the object buffer shape. More details about the artwork can be found here: http://somartin.com/2012/3d-characters-rock-the-season/
