Vray e GPU

Post by web_pirate »

No, in nessun modo.

More far future plans (targeted around Q1/Q2 2012):
VRAYforC4D 2.0 is a paid upgrade, it will be later around Q1 2012 - after more than 3.5 years of free updates, we will have a commercial update finally. it will be very fair priced. free render nodes from 1.x will stay free in update. the update will bring the great new vray 2.0 features from future vray max 2.0. People buying an 1.x version some time before 2.0 will get REDUCED update prices of course (grace period). All update prices will be very fair and user friendly. some planned feature highlights are:

>>V-Ray RT included, can use gpu + cpu + DR all together (!), RT can be used as production render.
>>"new GI", unbiased calculation mode (in addition to the existing ones), the RT GI engine also can be used for production
>>support for metaSL shaders (from mental mill), possible to load any available mental mill shader, also self made shaders.
>>camera exposure correction (interactive)
>>physical plausible glare and glow (interactive), with obstacle and aperture maps
>>vrscene file compatibility to get full compatibility between c4d, max and maya , enables mixed standalone rendering for farms, loading max or maya shaders etc
>>other special great V-Ray shaders
>>new special car paint material with flakes and details shading control
>>direct stereoscopic rendering, with reduced rendertime(!)
>>tool to measure real lenses and import these data into vray for perfect matching of real world cameras
>>and other many many other very nice additional (yet secret) features!
