enhanced opengl

Of course I will tell my friends :) Will take time but many will come you will see

Right now I investigate possible new bug with latest patch for 11.5 oh oh.

I think ther might be new lighting problem with display enchanced opengl and display shadows turned on. When I have 2 or more omni or area lights with shadows turned on, screen VERY slow, and 5 second delay for navigation rotate etc. GGRRHH but if shadow on for only 1 of the 2 area light then no problem. This is new, not happen before latest patch. I go to lower spec machine (pc) with just 11.5 no patch and many lights display with realtime shadow all ok.. hmmm

Hi, I tried too and I noticed the same to me :(
I don't use the Enached OpenGL in my jobs so I never see it before. Are you using it offen?

Hi, just tried too but I've not problem with the E-OpenGL, what kind of graphic board you have?

Hi,
I also tried it on an iMac and a MacPro ... no problem even using over 10 lights.
However I did a test with the R11 and indeed the movement was still more fluid than the R11.5.
