So it's off on a tangent (& i'm not sure if it'll get a page on my car-icature website (do you think it should?)) but I recently made a Spitfire for a job i was working on.

Then got to thinking maybe i would make a tooned version of the plane. And here she is..

For my latest car i thought i'd pay my due's to the quirky but ever so innovative SAAB, who went bankrupt this year. From cars without steering wheels through to their consistently distinctive looks, what a loss to the car industry.

The 1978 99 turbo was always going to be first SAAB i made. With such iconic (love it or hate it) style and the first mainstream car to have a turbo fitted.

Here is a wallpaper i made of my car.

Not sure about the logo or adding of the dates, what do you think?

A webpage will follow shortly..

So i have been busy for the last few days, firstly making my new car a - 1967 Chevrolet Impala (like the one in Supernatural). I really like how these classic American cars work out.. Quite difficult to make, but the curves really pay off..

In my efforts to get the most out of my models i keep on trying out new materials, lighting etc. I've been doing lots of dark backdropped renders and thought i'd add a light coloured one.

This has led me too thinking of a re-style for my web site. Which i would love to hear you opinion about..

Being a American muscle car from the 1960's i couldn't resist making it a little bit grungy..

Here is the link to the web page..

and my missus says i don't make enough wallpapers so here you go, my newest and favorite..

My latest is an updated version of my Audi Quattro.

I gave the car a re-working and then gave it a page on my website..
http://www.car-icature.com/Car-icature/ ... attro.html

I've been working on a couple of cars at the same time, so there are several on their way (and i've been tackling little cars for a change).

I'd love to hear what you think..

A client asked me to make a Fiat 500, sounds simple but this is my first foray into the world of little cars..

It took me a little while to get the proportions looking right, seeing as the designers had pretty much squeezed all the cute they could out of the design in the first place.

As this is my 30th car posted on my site i'm gonna make a new wallpaper from one of my cars, any requests?
