Here is a sneak peek at one of the new cars about to roll of the lot, ready for next weekends race in Singapore.

Texturing on this one was a nightmare, and i'm still not finished with it. I'd started to ease into just slapping a procedural textures on the cars..

As the tyres are so big i might try out a cloth object on them (for the ground collision), something i've been thinking about doing for ages but my tyres kept on getting thinner and thinner.

Still deciding weather or not it should be finished in Hamilton or Button's decals?

i look forward to it..

I went with the Jenson Button paint job. This car was much more difficult than my previous cars for a number of reasons-
Firstly, the amount of detail (of which there is a lot)
Secondly, the lack of wheel arches (forcing my hand on the way i had to do the wheels)
Thirdly, the sponsors decals adorned all over the car (very different experience from just dropping a basic paint texture on my previous cars)

Here is a link to it's page, quicktime vr and all..

The first view of my new car, the Jaguar E Type. Though this is a type 3 i thought i'd give it the shagadelic paint job from Austin Powers. I'm still tinkering with some details before i do the renders for my website..

In the mean time here is where i'm upto..
