graphic cards, processors, ram

Post by Balle »

Hi
PLEASE HELP!
I have started with C4D not long ago.I mostly model, render and now I am starting animations and of course I plan to continue the ascendant curve.
I use C4D with a sort of other software such as lumion, sketchup and recently I got some plugins from the group of e-on Software (Carbon scatter, ozone, lumen rt...).
Well, of course my current machine can't simply take it. So I want to start from scratch by building a new one.
I have gone crazy trying to understand graphic cards, processors, mother boards, RAM, Etc.
AMD, Nvidia, Radeon, blah blah blah...really I am going nuts.
So please, I kindly ask, Could I have some advice on what would be the best out there to buy? I am willing to spend a good chunk of money if need it.
Please help

Thanks a lot

Hi

this is my personal advice and current my working PC

Intel I7 - 3730
ASUS P8Z77-V LX
16 GB RAM DDR3
HDD Solid State 250 MB OCZ VERTEX 4
NVIDIA GEFORCE 250GTX

Remember that Cinema 4D needs only CPU and RAM, so invest money on them and on a very fast solid state hard disk.
The geforce 250gtx is a good entry level graphics card

With this configuration and Win7 It takes about 10 seconds to starts :!:
