Mulitiple Random Extrudes

Post by JaimeN46 »

Hi,

I have a world flat map in paths and as separate countries and wondered if there is a quick method to extrude each country to the same depth but all on random times to one anotherto happen within say 5 seconds.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thank you

Hi, very easy, put your extruded countries into the a null and put the random effector (maybe the Plain effector is the best way) into the top hierarchy, if you want the effector works correctly put it into object mode and you are now able to use the effector with a standard objects group instead of cloner object.

You can set a scale parameters into the plain effector to grow your Y for all countries and use a falloff to move it when the video starts...you can use a noise effector for randomise them or a sphere effector that grow your countries by moving it randomly or by scaling it :)
