How to Add IK Corrections on Top of an Animation?

Post by ali_aboshady »

I have a rig that I made from scratch (not using C4D built-in rig), and I made a character definition for it and made it reference an animation. It's working fine. Now I want to add IK handles to correct some of the movements while maintaining the animation.

I know this can be done using the C4D Mixamo built-in rig like in the video below (07:37). But how do I do it with a normal rig?

Thanks

mmm...believe me, its very hard to do that. The Mixamo auto rig template it's a very great rig due to a combination of two setup into one setup. You need a rig that constraint another rig to make it free during the animation.
To do that you need to know very well all Rig techniques...
