Question about vray:

- I currently using the specular layer1, and I noticed some differences from C4D core materials. Vray specular layer is moore hard to use and I seen the Hilight and reflections too, Can I disable the reflections effect into specular layer channel? or not?

Hi and welcome !

As in reality, specular layers in vray are kind of reflections (as they represent the glossiness of a material) so by default a specular layer comes with reflections because its the natural way. However you can disable reflections clicking on Trace reflections in the layer params.

oh thank you so much! your help is appreciated! I'm making a material with no reflections because it's only a top rubber profile of a cristal corner into a Bathroom scene
