Trying to use the Easy Ivy Plugin. I watched the video first

I created a plane, made it editable. drew a spline.. no problem.
Selected the leafghost and clicked to create leaves.

he leaves are generated on a XY Plane and not near the spline.
how do i make them follow the spline when generated?
