Im trying to make a peele effect on a apple, but its kind of hard to make it to look right, https://youtu.be/w5cW_6ANVJQ
this are my previous versions, and the client reference for the animation ( dont mind the stop motion), i saw that c4dzone was working on a peele it pluging but i think never come to life, can anyone give me a hand? how you guys think its a good way to accomplish this. SEND HELP

The peel it plugin was an experiment but it will never take life because it has got too much limitation during the cut of the mesh.
I chose to abort the project instead of selling a plugin that works only with a couple of mesh.
Anyway if you cut the mesh manually you have two choice
1) use the vertexmap animator to obtain the peel effect
2) rig the peel with some joints, weight it, and finally animate it manually.
