newbie here I'm running R20, I seen some video about multi istances... How does it works

Hello J, Multi Instance object is the same of Instance on r19 but now you can choose if you need a simple instance or a multi. MI (multi Instance) can be used with matrix object, TP and on. Use mograph clone to manage MI generation by choose it on drop down menu.
MI generate more instance internally dedicated to large cloning areas

Try yourself to make a cloner and change settings to Multi Instance. The workflow is very speedy now and optimized for large amount of clones.
