Slice it up Messes up phong [closed]

As soon as I slice anything, the phongs make the object seem unseemless. Even when i just slice a single sphere once. How do I make it so there are seemless edges. Messing with the phong tags seems to do nothing. Connect object does nothing.... :nono

Hi the phong cannot be the same of the original object because the geometry are different and you will obtain many objects from the original.

Avoid this behaviour is very simple with display tag

I suppose you want to animate the sliced objects with dynamics or by hand.

Leave them hide until you apply the cut or hit of the original object.
When the animation starts, at this frame hide the original object and show the the sliced objects
