cant activate quadcaps on c4d r20 win

I cannot access the activation window when starting c4d r20 (as admin).
The window pops up but i cannot paste the generated code. Buttons are disabled, no mouse interaction possible, not able to paste the code.
I was able to get the code for the activation by screencapturing. I also activated it on c4dzone
The popup appears but after 2-3s its removed and c4d is opened
