Doctor Tab - Tab Width

Can you add a setting (either text file within plugin folder or within C4D preferences) to adjust the default tab width or make each tab expand to fit the entire filename or max width?

I'm usually working with multiple versions of a project with different version numbers at the end of the file names. The ends of the file names are cut off in the tabs so they all appear to be the same name.

Example:
"ProjectName_AssetName-v01.c4d" and ProjectName_AssetName-v03.c4d" will both appear as: "ProjectName_AssetNa"

Also. Can the expand/contract buttons be removed? I don't find then useful.

ps: about the expand/contract button, this features is created for OSX users. Due to a technical reasons if you have many tabs you can scale the width of the windows by resizing it but on OSX the windows stay locked. So you must collapse it for resizing the width of the windows. For other features let me forward your request to Caleidos

Very Nice! I had xsTab for a while and then purchased two other tab plugins for C4D before Doctor Tab came along.
This is by far the best even before these additional features. Thanks for the update. I look forward to the release!
