Corona vs C4d Node editor

Downloaded today the Corona Renderer Beta2 RC1 with material Node editor. I have already the R20 and the C4D Note Editor.
I don't know if my brain is not suitable for Node Materials but I found the Corona version more simple than C4D.
I tried to make a C4D node editor but I don't understand how it does works
