Snap doesn’t works

I don’t know why sometimes the snap doesn’t works as expected
Seems that the object is placed under my camera and not on the front of my camera. I must rotate the camera to change point of view to make it works.
any help?

This issue happened to me as well, I don't know why but sometimes if you are away from the center of the viewport you need to rotate to the object direction and try again to move the mouse to snap.
It seems a bug or something else.
