Cross Nurbs Plugin
14 April 2013
Cross Nurbs is a Cinema 4D plugin that helps user to create polygonal plane by crossing two linear splines.
The plugin works with all editions of Cinema 4D R13/14 (Prime, Broadcast, Visualize, Studio) and with all cinema 4D compatible engine renderers (V-Ray etc).
Cross Nurbs is a parametric object type nurbs as those already present in cinema.
The procedure to create plane is very easy and based on 3 steps:
1) Draw a linear spline along the X axis
2) Draw a linear spline along the Z axis
3) Take these two splines and put them in the object hierarchy within Cross Nurbs
The plugin will generate automatically a plane as a result of cross product of two splines.
Moving spline vertices causes a realtime update of the plane shape.
Each spline vertex will become a plane subdivision.
The object can be positioned within hypernurbs, deformed through the classic cinema deformers and trasformed into a polygonal object with UV Map relaxed and Tag Phong generated automatically.
Watch the video above to see some example effects.
Cinema4D and system requirement:
-Cinema4D Versione 13/14
-OSX Snow Leopard e MLion
-Windows 7 32/64 bit
Cross Nurbs is available at our plugin section store at price of 15,00 euro + VAT
The plugin is developed by Matteo Porchedda from C4Dzone Staff.
