Xfrog is a leading software and library for photorealistic modeling and animation of 3D plants and other organic structures with over 3,000 accurate plant assets available. Among other applications, the tool is used in blockbuster movies like Avatar, Maleficent and Planet of The Apes,as well as for landscape planning and architectural visualization by renowned companies like Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid Architects. Originally developed at University of Karlsruhe, Germany, Xfrog has become a standard in creating vegetation and was nominated in 2015 for a Technical Achievement Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAC)

Artists can quickly create and animate highly realistic organic structures by combining Xfrog objects with Cinema 4D's built-in modeling features.

Xfrog 6.0 extends C4D with 7 brand new procedural components that allow users to create multi-level branch structures, arrange objects in the golden ratio, create curved leaves or twigs with splines and more, to give 3D vegetation the most compelling look.

The new Xfrog version 6.0 is compatible with Cinema 4D R23 and can be purchased from the Xfrog online shop. A free trial version for Windows and Mac OS X is also available.
