Starsky & Clutch

Post by mikeb »

A while back i got into making cute, cartoonised cars. I made a few and recently thought i'd bring them up to date, starting with this one.

The Ford Torino. I've been cleaning it up today but it's pretty old and i used to work very differently, so it's been a bumpy ride (excuse the pun).

This is where i'm upto..

Glad you like it. I'll post a wf tomorrow. I'm gonna be making more of these so my technique will get more refined..

Here is a Quicktime VR of my car, to give you a better look..

I have made a couple more adjustments to this model and will post the results soon. Mainly just cleaning up the bumps in the bodywork etc.

I've already already started on my next one. I got the idea to make some of these cars after seeing one i did a few years ago for a 007 clip i made. I'll post that as well.

Some great ideas, they're defiantly on my list now..

Sorry for the delay, i was on holiday, but now I'm back and here is my newest (i did it before i went away but forgot todefinatly post it).

I went for the dodge charger from Dukes of Hazard as i really wanted to do an old muscle car. I found so many variations on the original that it was hard to lock on to details (so anything anyone notices please mention it and I'll update it).

I'll have a 3d vr on-line soon..

On a different note i was approached by a company that wants to put my cars on t-shirts. That gave me an idea and i'll post more on that soon..
