Odd shadow shape

The shadow from the awning is odd. This is lit with sky object. I have lit it with other lights as well but this shadow looks wrong. Using a single light and moving it around of course the shadow moves properly but the shape of it here is odd.

Any help appreciated!

ehm...the shadows shape is created by the shape itself, so you can't edit it anyway. There are some tips about some shadows object but is a little bit difficult to make.
Your front store is curved so the shadow shape is ok, why you don't make it flat?
