WHAT IS CEILING BUILDER?
Ceiling Builder is a powerful parametric plugin for Cinema 4D designed to fully automate the creation of gypsum false ceilings, modular drop ceiling systems, and integrated architectural lighting. Driven by a single structural reference slab and a set of user-defined splines, the plugin procedurally generates drywall drops, perimeter coves, grid systems, linear slats, planks, recessed spotlights, and continuous LED channels.

Built upon a 100% non-destructive workflow, your original structural slab is never modified, cut, or duplicated. All ceiling geometry is calculated live, allowing you to tweak heights, board thicknesses, material finishes, and lighting layouts instantly at any stage of production.

- 100% Non-Destructive Workflow: Links to your structural ceiling reference object and extrudes false ceilings downward without touching the base geometry.
- Comprehensive Solid Ceilings: Generate island drops (Full Drop Area), inward perimeter bands (Perimeter Band), and open linear soffits (Linear Soffit) driven by simple splines.
- Perimeter Coves & Concealed LEDs: Automatically create recessed lighting coves, vertical hiding lips, and procedural LED light strips along perimeter boundaries.
- Modular Systems & Timber Slats: Build exposed grid ceilings, concealed tile systems, open-cell panels, linear wooden slats, and architectural planks.
- Complex Spline & Island Support: Native handling of compound splines, nested holes, and independent island contours using automatic containment rules.
- Smart Ceiling Features & Cutouts: Place up to 8 independent feature slots for spotlights, AC cassettes, air diffusers, sprinklers, and cameras. Automatic Boolean cutting and surface-seating ensure fixtures snap flawlessly to the lowest visible surface.
- One-Click Panel Replacement: Instantly swap standard ceiling tiles or wooden slats with 600×600 mm luminaires or custom replacement light fixtures.
- Recessed Linear LED Features: Create continuous recessed LED strip assemblies complete with dark housings, opal screens, and optional outer border trims.
- Role-Based Materials & Deterministic UVs: Dedicated material slots (Drywall, Structure, Surfaces, LEDs) featuring deterministic texture randomization and wood grain rotation.
- Optimized Viewport Performance: Advanced caching mechanisms and render instancing keep your viewport fluid and lightweight even in complex architectural scenes.
- Built-in Visual Preset Browser: Save and reload self-contained modular designs and feature fixture setups with visual thumbnail previews.

PLUGIN ACTIVATION LICENSE
Important: with the purchase of the plug-in you are eligible for 3 activations license. This means that you can activate this plugin on:
- 3 cinema 4d releases on 3 different workstations, (be careful so you immediately run out of licences)
- 3 different versions of Cinema 4D on the same workstation, so that you consume 1 activation each time you update the software (e.g. R22-23-24).
Once the 3 activations are used up, the plugin must be re-purchased as new, considering the low cost of the plugin it is a kind of subscription but you can manage it as you like. This plugin will be activated based on your Cinema4D serials or subscription license. There are important activation differences from other C4Dzone plugins so it doesn't automatically activated after download. Our office is located in Italy (GTM+1). We need at least 48 hours for the activation process.
