Hi Attached is my effort with experimenting with C4D Collision De-former, SSS, DOF test with Physical and standard camera.
Ambient Occlusion: Ambient Occlusion can be applied in the material in the Diffusion tab under Effects per object then you can uptick “Apply to project” in the Render settings of AO.
Control the AO grain, shading, quality in the Render Setting of a Physical camera under: Sampling Sub, Shading Sub, Shadow Sub, Ambient Sub.
Sub Surface Scattering:
Control the quality in the Render Setting of a Physical camera under, SSS Sub. Struggled to get Specular to show in the material.
Standard & Physical camera DOF:
I struggled with both. Physical worked best but tricky to get the sweet spot into focus with F-Stop. Physical camera did not respond to DOF Map Front & Rear Blur.
