Help with sticking texture to renderable splines without geometry (Vray 6)
I have even tried with actual geometry (using sweep) and tried different UV projections but get flickering and jittering. So if I could somehow make the renderable splines solution work instead of using geometry it would be great.

so any texture you apply it's going to be wrapped "around" the spline and not along the length.A temporary limitation is that only the U size is renderable.
Seems to me you can get a nice, well projected noise that doesn't stick or a only U projected noise that sticks...but not both :_)
That might be what you're experiencing.
